My name is Inigo Montoya…

Inigo MontoyaIt’s a wet, icy morning here in Casa Cummings. The perfect weather for waiting on an electrician. What’s that? Two weeks until the holidays and we’ve just been over the hump of car repairs and plumbing woes? That’s right, its time for another run down part of ye olde house to require attention! This week, the main (ie, only one with a shower) bathroom and the Mystery of the Broken Lights.

So here we are, kids home from school, the weather outside a touch frightful, waiting on the arrival of an electrician. Could be a light switch. Could be the wiring. Wheel of fortune, spin, spin, spin!

All isn’t waiting and bad weather. In the hills and troughs of writing, work continues. This weekend (coming) the Girl Scouts are headed to NYC for the day, so it may make for a quiet day for me, the dog, and a bit of wordsmithing. That and this desire to take advantage and make a turkey, or part of a turkey, on Saturday. (Relax – the kids leave at 3 something in the morning and come back at 1am, so it sounds like all weekend, but its really just one super long day. Go, Mom!)
