The spew of spam is overwhelming these days. However, I am a fickle and ego hungry poster, getting no end of self gratification out of the fact that people might read what I write.
But then there is the ton of spam that akismet is thankfully catching, and the desire to not even have to sort through the hundreds of posts a day in case a good one was accidentally flagged. Since the bulk of the spammer comments come from the same email domain, I’ve added a new registration blocker. Hopefully it won’t affect anyone that does comment, but if you have problems signing up or commenting, get in touch with me (there are more than enough ways to do that š
