“Theft of Swords” stole my free time, now to build a bed

Finished Michael Sullivan’s (@author_sullivan) “Theft of Swords” late last night. When I started the day, I was only a little over 1/2 of the way into the book. By the time I went to bed, it was done (so that’s about 300 pages last night). The book on a whole was great (I’ve already given it a pre-emptive 5 stars on goodreads, pre-review to justify it even!), but the last half especially was a boulder rolling downhill to a satisfying conclusion. This isn’t a substitute for my book review, but its the best I can do right this second.

And now, I must build a bed or two, mostly for the great bed swap amongst the girls as we upgrade, streamline, and otherwise even out the whole bed situation with the kids. Youngest had grown too big (:sad face:) for her toddler bed, but an attempted bed order from overstock.com resulted in us getting a conversion kit instead of a whole bed frame. The original plan had been to give her Katy’s bed frame (with a new mattress), and give Katy a new, less bulky bed frame so she could reclaim some space in her room. Things be what they are (read: chaotic), we’ve finally gotten the last part in for the first bed today, so I’m off to redo Katy’s bed and see what’s going to be necessary to finish this up for youngest child. Expect the sound of hammers, shouts, and woodworking to ensue.
