Thought for the day (No, there won’t be one of these *every* day)

[To alay any fear, no, there won’t be a thought every day (’cause I can’t think that much).]

It’s not what you write, it’s how you write it.

This seems particular poignant to me, since when you look around at the books that you think are the greatest ever (whatever the genre, though I’d wager this only works with fiction), what I find is that most of them tell the same story as any dozen or more other books. What makes them stand out, then, isn’t the subject, but how the reader is introduced and invested into the story. Just a thought 🙂
