Just some quick shares – these both came across my screen this week, which are oddly tangential to something I’m working on (not exactly zombie fiction, though there is something similar). First up is a great article by Peter Watts, a fabulous science-fiction writer and biologist, wherein Watts attempts to reason out how the zombies on The Walking Dead were brought back from the dead – The Darwinian Dead.
Tangential on so many levels, we have this video clip from Canada in which the Zombie Response is discussed in a session. Not only tangential for the zombie angle, but because Watts is a Canadian writer (and you know those crazy Canadians. What? You don’t know?
