short series of updates

Since it’s been a few days since I blogged (gah, over half a week) a quick rundown on changes, updates, etc 🙂 First and foremost, of course, is that my new amd64 box absolutely rocks the Casbah, and thanks to Anarchy thunderbird now launches firefox like it should 🙂

* Some bumps with the perl-module eclass – basically an old bug resurfaced and required some re-tweaking, all of it related to Module::Build support
* Fixed the ‘die’s in the eclass as well – modules were claiming to be installed by portage even if the build had died
* a few g-cpan bug fixes. I have a couple more I want to do before rc3, and it’s looking (from the scrolling stream of output) that I’m going to have to buckle and get versioned deps into the generated ebuilds (ack). I foresee a few bugs coming out of that, chiefly if the dep is for something we haven’t bumped yet in portage, but that part of the beast will need to be addressed later.

Couple of other things, I’m sure, but I can’t think of what they are at the moment…
