10 Things learned list

This list of 10 Things learned in the course of novel revising cracked me up, and no, you don't have to be a writer to have faced some of these - look at me, I'm no writer and won't be, no matter how easy the certification is, until I actually finish a draft of something. But I have definitely faced the spelling dilemma of "are you sure this simple, every day word is spelled like this?????" Though I wonder (not seriously), if you're making a list of ten items while working on a novel, isn't that procrastination...?

Michael is happily married and the proud father of three girls. He acknowledges that that means that as soon as they hit their teens, the bathroom will be lost forever and his hypertension will go through the roof as he hunts down a shotgun. In the meantime, he enjoys tinkering with Linux (former Gentoo dev, w00t), fixing his frankenparts PC, and attempting to write stories that are worthy of reading (a ways to go on that one).
