mythtv’s working, now back to work for me :)

ok, finally got mythtv recording in the end, after much hair pulling and breaking (and unbreaking), all it took was to erase the card setups i had and remake them from scratch. that's it. everything is happy, recording and watching in mythtv. yay and to boot - and i don't know if this is because of the encoder on the pvr150 or something in mythtv i accidently hit (yay me if so), but myth is recording everything directly as an mpg (instead of a .nuv file), so to boot i don't even have to watch my recording in myth (so i can use a smaller window, because i can't seem to get mythfrontend to be anything smaller than a full blown screen size).

ok, so, like, now i have to do work and stuff again.

About mcummings

Michael is happily married and the proud father of three girls. He acknowledges that that means that as soon as they hit their teens, the bathroom will be lost forever and his hypertension will go through the roof as he hunts down a shotgun. In the meantime, he enjoys tinkering with Linux (former Gentoo dev, w00t), fixing his frankenparts PC, and attempting to write stories that are worthy of reading (a ways to go on that one). Its nice to have aspirations at least :)
