perl-5.8.8 -ack

It never fails that something sits in testing for months without a single viable bug report (the occasional bug that turns out to be something on the user side), but the second its in the tree as stable, pow! bam! zing!

OK, so two bugs came out of this release. First was that there appears to be two copies of perl-cleaner-1.0.3 running around out there, so some mirrors are giving you bad copies (bug 134449). The more important thing that came out required a version bump and re-keywording, and that's that somewhere along the way I lost my pdepends (yes, i lost them, it was me, all me!!) which proved to be a pain (there's a bug about it somewhere...here i think, at least the closest..

Michael is happily married and the proud father of three girls.
