Not your typical post

StalkerAh, the crisp scent of The Global Warming that Isn’t There in the air. Trees struggling to figure out if its winter or spring, ice caps melting in the front yard in preparation of tomorrow’s 60+ degree days. What post apocalyptic landscape is this? That’s right! It’s the two-year anniversary of my going into the doctor’s for a little chest cough and black outs and coming out three days later having been branded a congestive heart failure case.

Did I do better in year two? I think so. Not massively, you can’t recognize me walking down the street because of my shininess, but I have certainly improved a bit. My blood pressure is finally down in the low lands and well-managed, and while my battle with the bulge mountain planetoid that is my weight continues to be a struggle, my diet and exercise routine has certainly improved. There is actually something to call a routine, which is a strange fact.

In the movie version, this all lasted for about 2:42 of film, had a great soundtrack, and was really motivational. The reality is still a work in progress and is kind of ugly to look at if you’re not drunk or you’ve just eaten.

Such is life.

OK, enough reflection and self assessment. Back to posts about writing and creativity and entertaining!
